After reading the story my only response to it is that it's so mind blowing that a butterfly could change the past into a future.

Self reliance

What I read I felt like Emerson sees people as followersand them not being there own people. He also talks to much about religion. A quote I didn't understand was "Let not God speak to us, lest we die. Speak thou, speak any man with us, and we will obey.' "
